1) Tasks
- Directs an entire building project (usually one home build or rehab at a time)
- Works on site per schedule and directs volunteer leaders/teams, interfaces with subcontractors
- Participates in defining the project, approves plans, construction techniques,
- Develops a detailed project schedule
- Defines number of volunteers needed at any given time
2) Skills Required
- Can read construction blueprints
- Understands and can practice advanced carpentry skills
- Good communication skills, can direct people
- Computer skills, can generate schedules and communicate via e-mail
